Compared to conventional single mold, stack mold can double the output of an injection molded by stack 2 or more mold on one machine. Special tooling design and hot runner system are needed.
Stack mold does not require more clamp force as the product project area are the same in parallel direction but the output is double and production unit cost saving is massive. |
